We are fully committed to the privacy and security of each user that comes to our site. As such, we adhere to the Online Business Code Practices of the Better Business Bureau Online Reliability Program. Additionally, each and every page of our application is a Verisign-approved secure environment for your personal data and transactions. And finally, InsuranceDesk is a licensee of the TRUSTe Privacy Program. TRUSTe is an independent, non-profit organization whose mission is to build user's trust and confidence in the Internet by promoting the use of fair information practices. COLLECTION OF INFORMATION

For health and life insurance, we also require health information including existing conditions, medications, and family history. For home and auto insurance, we require details about your vehicles, drivers, home, and home contents.

Minors

Our site and services are not directed toward individuals under 16 years old ("Minors") nor do we knowingly collect information from Minors.

USE OF INFORMATION

By filling out information on InsuranceDesk as part of a request for information about insurance quotes and policies, you authorize us to provide that information to various insurance agents, insurance companies and related third parties that participate in our insurance quote distribution network and operations ("Insurance Providers"). The Insurance Providers may provide your personal information to their vendors, suppliers and insurance carriers in order to generate price and other information relevant to insurance policies that you have requested, and the Insurance Providers may use the information to contact you directly with quotes via telephone, fax, and email, regardless of the presence of your phone number(s) on any local or national no-call list.

We use reasonable efforts to ensure that the Insurance Providers are bound to protect your personal information to at least the degree established in this Policy. Additionally, it is our policy to require Insurance Providers to use reasonably secure means of receiving and processing your personal information.

You should be aware that after an Insurance Provider contacts you directly, any information you provide to the Insurance Provider - which may be duplicative of the personal information you initially submitted through InsuranceDesk - will no longer be covered by this Policy, and you should verify the individual Insurance Provider's privacy policies and practices. InsuranceDesk has no control over these policies and practices. Also be aware that the Insurance Providers may use the personal information they acquire about you from InsuranceDesk in connection with other information they acquire about you (from credit reporting companies, etc.) as well as information you provide them. InsuranceDesk cannot and will not be responsible or liable for any of your personal information that you provide directly to Insurance Providers after the Insurance Provider contacts you or that they acquire from sources other than InsuranceDesk.

In addition to the foregoing uses by Insurance Providers, we may share your personal identification information with the following categories of entities and/or under the following circumstances:

* Third parties with whom we have advertising or promotional relationships (provided that we are not otherwise restricted from making such disclosures). You will have the opportunity to refuse these offers at the time your information is collected. We will display such offers and you can choose to 'opt-in' at that time. The personally identifiable information we collect is only used one time to provide you with insurance quotes. There is no way for you to access, update, or delete your information once a request is submitted. If you make a mistake in a request, you can re-submit your information in full. InsuranceDesk does not directly contact you through email or telephone. If you no longer want to receive correspondence regarding insurance quotes, you need to do so by directly contacting theInsurance Providers that you receive email from, and ask that they no longer contact you.

InsuranceDesk does not sell, rent or disclose your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes except as authorized by and as set forth in this Policy.

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site.
